An ancient farmhouse built on an Etruscan site

Almost all the landmarks of this area bring us back to the great Etruscan civilization. This is because our farmhouse was built by great grandmother Sèlita in the late 1700s using the stones of Etruscan sites found during excavations.

The second house, transformed into a “Bed & Breakfast”, was finished in 2005 and is perfectly integrated with the original farmhouse both stylistically and in the use of local materials such as “tufo”, visible beams, wooden floors and ceilings and hand-made fired brick.

CasaSèlita is immersed in peacefulness and surrounded by a big terraced lawn, a large garden and more than one hundred olive trees.

Interior

CasaSèlita, furnished in a very traditional and sophisticated way, has three different floors:

  • On the first one there is a big dining room with an antique fireplace and a kitchen. Right outside this area is a covered walkway that leads you to the garden.
  • On the second floor there are three double rooms, each one with its own bathroom, a private entrance and an independent terrace.
  • On the third floor, the tower, there is another smaller room with its own bathroom. It has a French double bed and a terrace with a wonderful view.

The rooms are named according to their location: the sunrise room, the sunset room, the midday room and the tower.
